Service Engineer (Onsite):

Ecochlor is looking for a full time Service Engineer with a PLC and maritime industry background. The applicant should be able to provide after-sales field service via vessel attendance and remote troubleshooting. Duties include (but not limited to) troubleshooting, repair and technical service for installed equipment; chemical resupply support; customer training; and, vessel tracking and support. Competent in Microsoft Office, including Excel with experience in ERP and other database systems. Proficient on LV electrical installations, PLC Programming Logic and control systems as well as mechanical experience on piping systems and the ability to read and understand P&ID, general arrangement and electrical drawings. Experience working with chemicals an advantage. This position is based at our HQ in North Haven, Connecticut Corporate Office. Salary for this position is dependent on experience. Ecochlor has a strong benefits package along with a noncontractual bonus of up to 20% of the salary. Regional Chemical Coordinator (Onsite):

Ecochlor is looking for a full time Regional Chemical Coordinator. The applicant should be able to provide after-sales field service via vessel attendance and remote troubleshooting. Duties include (but not limited to) taking a leading role in arranging supply operations in the USA, South America and Canada; build up a portfolio of reliable logistic, storage and service providers; communicate effectively with vessel management; and, track costs and time utilization and spare parts deliveries. The candidate should be well organized, with a strong background in logistics and some familiarity with moving hazardous goods.  Preference would be given to candidates that have an understanding of the Marine, Industrial or Offshore/Oil & Gas Industry business and a sense of urgency behind each shipment. Competency in Microsoft Office with data processing and document control skill needed. Salary for this position is dependent on experience. Electrical Test Engineer (Onsite):

Ecochlor is looking for a full time Electrical Test Engineer with experience in the Maritime industry to support the fabrication, testing and field service of electrical control equipment used onboard commercial vessels. Duties include (but not limited to) in-house testing, remote troubleshooting and operation support. Siemens PLC/HMI programming experience required. Applicants must have solid Microsoft Office and project management skills. Salary for this position is dependent on experience. This position is based at our HQ in North Haven, Connecticut Corporate Office with approximately 25% travel depending on project schedules. Maritime Procurement Manager (Onsite):

Ecochlor is looking for a full time Maritime Procurement Manager with experience working in the maritime industry. The focus of this position will be to develop, manage and operate a set of company-wide functions related to the procurement of materials to support Ecochlor’s operations around the world. Duties include (but are not limited to) the development and management of a centralized procurement program that adds value and efficiency to the organization. This includes maintaining strong relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality and delivery targets are met; manage relationships with vendors; contract negotiations; optimize NetSuite to support the procurement process and cost tracking for performance metrics; and, implement best practices in buyer and supplier management to support commercial operational objectives. Applicants must have experience in purchasing in an international market, MRP I, as well as excellent negotiation and communications skills. NetSuite experience and proficiency in foreign languages is a plus. This position is based at our HQ in North Haven, Connecticut Corporate Office with an option for a hybrid work week schedule.
